I would like to know which schools everyone is attempting for and what scores they expect to get.
What are the expected GMAT requirements for each of the top schools?
I plan on applying for a parttime MBA to either Kellogg or GSB Chicago - since I work in Chicago. What would be the GMAT requirements?
There really are none. It varies tremendously. I know one person at Chicago with a 550 (though she suggested once, while a bit drunk, that she basically bribed her way in). I know others with 750's who didn't get in. Generally speaking, you will want at least a 600 to apply to these top schools, anything close to a 700 is better, over 700 is perfect. Same applies to KGSM. I know two people who got in with 620's, one with a 720, one with a 550, and one with a 780 who was rejected.
It also depends what your GPA is like. If you have a 3.8 gpa, your GMAT is still important, but somewhat less so. If your GPA is a 3.0, your GMAT is much more important. The longer you have been out of school, the more your GMAT matters as well (as your GPA is no longer an accurate measure).
