Which schools "desire" strong quantitative GMAT score for doing MS in Finance or Quantitative Finance

The issue is your GMAT is good, not great and your split is really bad. I'd imagine your TOFEL would be lower also.

1) MFE programs tend to care less about your verbal section and are more forgiving of weaker English skills.
2) Lower ranked MSF programs will be more forgiving. Some of the programs that have a higher % of international students, tend to not focus on the GMAT split as much.

Are you looking at programs in the US or Europe?
