Hi
Dontknowtoomuch,
Thanks for sharing. It is a daunting process trying to figure out which schools are a good fit for you. I can only speak to full time MBA programs - firstly, you are going to need a few years of work experience first to get into most MBA programs. All programs are looking at your career progression, leadership roles you've taken (professionally, at undergrad, and through extra curricular work), academics of course + gmat, work accomplishments, and then your hobbies/passions, volunteer work etc.
But it's never too early to start planning for this as it is highly competitive to get into an MBA school (at least the top schools). So I would personally think about your career at this point and get some good experience before applying for an MBA.
What I would advise you to do is set up a free 30 minute consultation with us to help get you thinking about what you should plan for and which schools might be a good fit for you in a few years time. It's always hard to assess from a quick recap like you've written above. You can sign up at
www.fortunaadmissions.com/free-consultation. We are an MBA admissions consulting firm where our entire team is made up of former admissions directors from some of the top MBA programs around the world.
Hope to hear from you!
