Hi, I'm knee deep in my application preparations but with the due date closing in, wanted to get some advice/feedback on what people think. I'm not familiar with US cities or school reputations so I'd appreciate your help.
GMAT: 720 (Quant 47/68% ; Verbal 42/96%)
TOEFL: 112
GPA: 3.15
Work Experience: 8 Years
Position: Director of Technology
Age: 29
International student
Why MBA? Change in career, simple thirst for academics and challenge. Thinking of going into consulting/entrepreneurship (definitely not finance, investment, etc)
What's important? Weather (I live in Southern California now and love it), Big city life, career connections
Schools I'm applying to:
Stretch (I think) - Harvard, Stanford, University of Chicago
Reach (I think) - Columbia, Kellogg, Berkeley
Comfortable (I think) - UCLA
Lower (I think) - USC
Schools I'm questioning:
MIT
Dartmouth
Wharton
Duke
U Michigan
I am questioning the schools because I'd like to apply everywhere to increase my chances but the applications are so expensive and I can't ask for too many letters of recommendations. :'(
What do you think of my stretch/reach/comfortable/lower?
And schools?
Am I applying to enough schools at this moment?
