Which Score to Send? 700 (Q47, V40, IR5) vs. 720 (Q45, V44, IR7)

Hey guys!

I just got a score report back from an Online GMAT and scored a 720 (Q45, V44, IR7). I previously took an in-person GMAT and got a 700 (Q47, V40, IR5).

Is the 720 (online) worth sending to schools or is the lower quant score an issue? I, unfortunately, do not have the time to take the exam again.

Any advice here would be much appreciated!

Your Q45 is perfectly fine despite being a lower percentile. If you can pull of a 700+ score, nobody cares how you did it really

I could say to send both but you will have to spend $$ on the second score report and I don't know that it is worth it..... since these are separate score reports, they won't likely even see it since they ask you to fill out the application and then they just check it to match it. Though some schools will actuall ask you about your previous attempts (Booth comes to mind) and you can list your 700 there.

Thanks for your response! If I just send the Online Score, will the in-person score be included with it? I am a little unsure of how the score reporting works for the Online GMAT Exam.

Both of those are great scores, but I agree with  bb : go with the 720.

As mentioned in the other topic, your in person test will not be included with the online test score report and vice versa. You would actually have to send two separate score reports since each would include only their respective test.

There's a reason the first score is higher - 44 in verbal is so much higher and more impressive than 40

that's right! I am a college senior and just wanted to get the test out of the way. I will likely be applying in 3-4 years. Do you see any issue with the Online GMAT score being accepted at that time? Would love your perspective on that.
