Hi Team,
I know getting into an MBA program involves the weightage across different criteria in one's profile and also the GMAT marks. I am stuck somewhere and trying to identify with my score and profile till date, what colleges will be safe for me to apply for a full time MBA in UK/France region. With the expertise available in this platform, I wanted to have a brief understanding where my profile stands and what universities I can aim for -
General Information:
Nationality - Indian
Gender - Female
Age - 25
GMAT: 660 (Q46 V35 IR5 AWA6)
Occupation: IT Consulting (Data Analytics)
Academics:
B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Engineering (year 2018) from KIIT University
GPA: 9.25/10 (2nd position holder in branch).
Academic Projects, Internships and Extracurriculars:
● Merit scholarship holder in KIIT for SGPA as high as 9.76 and 9.81 (4th and 6th sem)
● Was the only one in a branch of 410 students to be awarded internship+PPO offer in HighRadius Technologies
● Member of music society, aeronautic society in college, attended multiple Model United Nation summits
● Nation level examinee and certificate holder in Indian Classical music and fine arts
● Awarded 'reward and recognition' at workplace for outstanding performance
● Member of a non-profit organization (based out of Japan) - regularly attending study meetings, involved in humanitarian activities
Work Experience (Overall 3 years)
1. HighRadius Technologies - Total 2 years (1 year internship, 1 year as Associate Techno Functional Consultant, 1 year as Associate Techno Functional Consultant)
2. ZS Associates - Decision Analytics Associate 1 year 4 months
Being in product based and service based consulting throughout, both job roles included global exposure and working with clients across major US and UK industries - pharma, CPG, electric industry, hardware industry, cosmetic industry. The roles have been client facing and involved regular interaction with client and onshore team based out of US/UK.

My first thought was if you would consider waiting one additional year to apply. I think you have some really good experiences and a high GPA, but with only 3 years of work experience and a lower than average GMAT score, waiting until next year to apply would enable you to strengthen your profile. Certainly you would have more time to retake the GMAT – or switch over the GRE. Additionally, while I am sure you have already been impressive at work as an associate, you will have to show the admissions committee that your work experience is comparable to many applicants who have been working full-time a bit longer. You will also be competing against applicants who have more extracurricular experience. Therefore, you could wait another year, to give yourself the chance to take on more leadership roles at work and make more of an impact, and if possible, show that you have been successful in collaborating with your peers and mentoring/coaching others. Be sure to illustrate your impact outside of work as well, by perhaps becoming very involved in an extracurricular activity. So assuming you wait another year to gain more experiences, and you can raise your GMAT (or GRE) score to above the average of your target schools in UK/France, you will have a better chance at admission.
