Hi everyone,
Let me give you a bit of background on me: I graduated in 2018 in Business Administration from a UK (lower first tier university) with a decent 2:1. I took a bit of time off after my studies and worked for a boutique consultancy, and during my time there I realized I wanted to get into management consulting (strategy).
So I decided to go get my master’s degree. I applied for a couple of programs and got into the following ones but I am having a hard time deciding which one would be the best considering my situation and profile. As of now my options are:
- St. Gallen (Switzerland), MSc Marketing Management
- Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), MSc International Management
- University College Dublin (Ireland), MSc Marketing
- Nova SBE (Portugal), MSc Management
The reasons why I applied to these courses is that I thought they represented a good balance between quality of teaching and cost. In fact, unfortunately, I do not have unlimited funding and masters above 20k are a bit out of my league - especially where it’s not possible to get a loan from the state or something. That’s why I ruled out many programs such as HEC Paris, etc.
I am a European citizen who speaks English, French, Italian and basic Spanish. And as I have said before I would like to get into strategy consulting once I finish with my studies.
I have had a look at the dozens of rankings there are out there, but honestly I find them rather confusing as they are not consistent (even when it comes to top b-schools). Thus I thought I’d ask here where I could find people who have already been through this and who know more about these schools than I do.
Any review, opinion and suggestion is more than welcome - I hope someone can help me out!
