Can you please help me with this question.

IMO - it should be D.
But since media is plural the pronoun should be their so A.

I can understand why you believe that "media" is a plural noun.
For a long time, grammarians insisted that "media" was plural.
That insistence has changed, at least on the GMAT.

Take a look here: "Media" is a collective noun. It can be either plural or singular.

This question does not test whether media is singular or plural.
It tests whether we can spot a subordinating conjunction and keep verb tenses parallel.

I hope that helps. :-)

ra5867 , I need to see whether the question and Answer A are transcribed correctly.

I doubt either the question or A could vary radically enough to change the OA, but I cannot be certain.

(OA was not provided. I am not associated with Aristotle and have no access to the company's material. I can enter the correct answer when I know what the text in question looks like.)

As both question and Answer A stand now, the correct answer is D.

The answer definitely can't be A, since we don't have a sentence there! We have a dependent clause ("While the media should present a neutral view") followed by a modifier ("with their aim to . . . "). Where's the main subject and verb?

D is definitely the only answer that works.
