When emailing a school about your continued interest in the school once you've been wait listed, who should you email? Should you send it directly to the person who signed your wait list letter or is it better just to email the school's generic MBA email address?

When emailing a school about your continued interest in the school once you've been wait listed, who should you email? Should you send it directly to the person who signed your wait list letter or is it better just to email the school's generic MBA email address?

If there were directions in the waitlist letter, follow them. Otherwise, I'd send it to the generic admissions@_____ email address.

When I was waitlisted, after sending the initial correspondence to the generic email address, I also emailed a member of admissions I had previously spoken with. You want to create a bond with a member of admissions and give them a reason to be your advocate. Show your continued desire, but be tactful and don't pester admissions too much.
