I have never heard of WHU. I think that the only business school in Germany that is worth of attention, it's Mannheim Business School. It is ranked 26th in Europe by FT. Other German schools seem to be way below or not even in top 70 (in Europe!). How did you find out about WHU?

Dear Experts,

...As the session of WHU is starting too early, i am in a dilemma and not able to decide, whether i should have to wait for the other school's reply or i should accept WHU?

I am very desperatly looking forward for your suggestion.

Regards,
Pranal Rai

Germany MBAs are well regarded within Germany and they are gaining more recognition outside Germany, especially for the top ones such as Leipzig, Mannheim, etc. WHU is a good choice.

Regarding Visas, it depends upon the case. It seems that 1 month should be fine. But check with consulate. Can you try deferral at WHU? It is a decision involving many factors. You have to weigh all the pros and cons and likely changes and make a well-thought-out decision. Use a rating system of your own if necessary.

If you would like someone to speak with you a bit more in depth about your candidacy and options, let us know. We offer free 20 minute evaluations to any interested students. We wish you the best in your endeavors.

Dear all,

I got accepted at WHU-MBA as well (year 2011-2012)

I am an Egyptian pharmacist and I work as eMarketing Coordinator at Lundbeck Middle East (2 years total experience). I am considering a pogram abroad because I need to have the edge.

The WHU program is short (16 months) and the school seems to be one of the best in Germany. I am only concernced about not benefiting from it when I am back two Cairo, two years from now.

Kindly advise.

Thanks
