Sumfar
I scored 340 on my official 1st GMAT exam, which was shocking for me!! I scored 490 on my Kaplan diagnosis test, and hired a Kapaln private tutor to guide me, took 15 hours class with him in 4 weeks. He said, I don't need to practice hard questions or go much deep in topics as I wouldn't see them on exam, he asked to solve some Quant problems from 2nd edition and did all from kaplan purple book and quiz bank, also I did some passages during those classes and he told me to figure purpose and solve questions, we didn't went through SC or CR Proportions or decimals, or even integrated reasoning or essay writing.
I will shed some light on my background, I have 4 years of Bachelors of Engineering from reputable University, I have solid background in Math, I am English writer, speaker and I have good grammar foundations, but while I was giving my test, I had the feeling I know nothing, I scored 4 in analytical writing and 4 in IR. My advisor at Penn State University in PA, said that if I score above 500, I am a good candidate for MBA program.
Please advice me to attain my target score of 550 in GMAT.
