Hi Everyone,
I recently took the GMAT Focus Edition and scored 67 in Quant, which is in the 7th percentile. However, I answered 15 out of 21 questions correctly, and I am struggling to understand why my score is so low despite this accuracy.
Could it be due to the adaptive scoring system or the difficulty level of the questions I answered correctly? I’m also curious about how much the early questions or unscored experimental questions might have impacted my performance.
If anyone has insights or has faced a similar situation, I would greatly appreciate your input!

1. Question Difficulty: The adaptive system assigns more weight to harder questions. If many of the questions you answered correctly were easier, it would have less impact on your score.
2. Early Questions: Performance on earlier questions tends to influence the difficulty level of subsequent questions, which can affect your score significantly.
3. Experimental Questions: Some questions are unscored, but since you can’t distinguish them, they might create the impression of higher accuracy.
Focus on reviewing question types and patterns to handle tougher problems, as improving accuracy on high-difficulty questions can boost your score. You’re on the right track—keep at it!

Even unanswered question contributes to higher penality, One more thing is this a Mock test report or an Actual test report?
