Hi All,
I have a good profile, decent GMAT score and 4 Years of work experience with a Top MNC. Though I had an offer, due to some personal reasons, I could not join the job immediately after undergrad. I have 8 months gap between my undergrad and start of the professional work.
Do you think this will impact my chances to get into good/top B-School ? How do I present this gap better ? Kindly suggest.

Good tips in the article. Yes, it's all about your story and what you do in your time.
Your time can be spent employed by someone else. But it can also be spent doing lots of other stuff - community activities, teaching in 3rd world countries, organizing big campaigns with social missions, etc. Keep in mind your professional work experience is only one way to portray your story. Gaps in employment may be more difficult to explain to future employers who want cookie-cutter type applicants. But for bschools that value life experiences, all you need to show is that you did something meaningful that complements your story.
