Hello Everyone,

I am meant to be taking my GMAT Online tomorrow morning, but I am unwell and will not be able to take the test. As I am within the 24-hour time limit for canceling or rescheduling the test, I cannot cancel. If I do not show up to the GMAT Online exam, will I still have to wait 16 days until taking another attempt or will I be able to schedule another in a few days?

Hello Everyone,

I am meant to be taking my GMAT Online tomorrow morning, but I am unwell and will not be able to take the test. If you miss your appointment, you may schedule a new exam, but there will be a 24-hour waiting period and you will have to pay the full registration fee.

You do not have to wait the full 16 days if you are a "no show" for your GMAT.

Hi ohaller,

If you do not physically show up for your GMAT (or log-in, in the case of the At-home GMAT), then that appointment will NOT 'count' towards your 5-attempts-in-12-months nor your 8 lifetime attempts limit - and you will NOT need to wait 16 days to schedule another appointment. You will lose your Test Fee though.

As mentioned, no 16-day waiting is needed but you won’t be able to schedule another appointment until your previous one is marked as a no-show which takes about 24-48 hrs. So you will be able to book another appointment which has to be booked 24 hrs in advance in 2 days after your test date.

This means the soonest you can book for will be Dec 31st, 2021
