Hi all! I have an online exam scheduled for tomorrow morning but my drivers license is expired and I haven't gotten the renewed one in the mail yet. It's too late to reschedule and I have called GMAT and Examity to try and cancel but they still wont allow. I don't have a passport or any other valid ID so I'm thinking my only option is to just not show up for the exam so that it doesn't account as an attempt. If I do not show up will I have to wait the 14 days to reschedule an exam?
Im really confused and stressed please offer any advice you can!! Thank you!
Hi. Sorry about this. This is very annoying.
A no-show does not count as an attempt. The process: You will need to wait about 24 hours so that your no-show registers in the system and the system knows that you did not actually take a test.
After the period of about 24 hours which would probably mean Monday realistically, you can look to reschedule your test and you should be able to schedule it in less than 14 days. Perhaps for Tue or Wed. Usually you can’t schedule test center appointment same day. You may be able to schedule GMAT online.
PS. I would say this is how the system has been working for the last number of years. With the GMAT focus announcements, there have been some changes lately, one of which was you can no longer take GMAT online or GMAT’s test center tests without waiting. in the past until a couple months ago, you could take them a day apart or even on the same day but now there is a rule that you can only take them 14 days apart and there’s also a rule that you can only schedule one GMAT appointment at a time. Assuming they have been no other changes, which I have no reason to believe that have been, you should be able to schedule another test on Monday after a no-show.
