Hi, I was fortunate enough to interview for CBS and I am considering apply for financial aid as an international student before the deadline this week, but I am afraid it will affect my chances of getting admitted. I am having a hard time finding good information about this, so do you have any insight? Will it affect my application, and how much? Should I apply for financial aid? I am coming from a non-profit background so I guess they shouldn't be shocked, but not sure how much this affects the application. I really don't want to risk my one shot to an M7 school. I found this link that says they are need aware for international students, but I can't tell what programs it applies to and how much of a risk it is. Applying for financial aid as an international MBA student at Columbia Business School (CBS) does not negatively impact admission chances, as need-based aid evaluations are separate from the admissions process.
Need-based aid applications are typically reviewed only after an interview invitation, with deadlines often set within two weeks of that invitation. For more details, visit CBS MBA Scholarships.
