Hello, guys!

I was wondering if it is correct to separate will and have using "not only, but also" structure. Consider the sentence in question:

Participants will not only acquire valuable skills in areas such as telecommunication and satellite installation, but also have the unique opportunity to network with representatives from the world’s leading IT companies.

I think that this sentence need more definitive parallelism, for example "will also have". My friend disagrees and thinks the sentence is OK as it is. Provided there are no answer choices, would this be correct?

Following construction looks fine.
Participants
---will
-------not only
-----------------acquire valuable skills in areas such as telecommunication and satellite installation,
-------but also
-----------------have the unique opportunity to network with representatives from the world’s leading IT companies.

will is common for both parts of the sentence.

Participants will acquire valuable skills in areas such as telecommunication and satellite installation.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to network with representatives from the world’s leading IT companies.
