I noticed that many GMAT books and formula sheets include the following material:
1) Central Angle = 2 x Inscribed Angle
2) For a 30 degree - 60 degree - 90 degree right triangle, the ratio of the sides are 1x : Root 3x : 2x
However, neither of the above are mentioned in the Math Review section of OG 12. It appears that many GMAT books insist that you memorize the above, even though they are not brought up in the Math Review section of OG 12. Furthermore, from the questions I have done from GMAC sources such as OG 12 and GMAT Prep, I have yet to encounter a question that tests the above material.
One would think that if GMAC were to throw questions that require the knowledge of 1) or 2) in the GMAT, they would have included the background knowledge for it in the OG 12 Math Review.
1) and 2) are just 2 examples. However, there are more examples that I have encountered such as the above and it just adds to the list of stuff "I think" I may have to remember because the author "said so." So, can I be confident that anything that is not mentioned in the Math Review section of OG 12 also won't be on the GMAT?

As far as I remember, this property was there in OG 11. Check out the triangles property section in OG

Don't try to focus on the specific material you need to know. Most of the quant section doesn't require advanced math skills in a specific section. It really requires having strong fundamentals in the pre-calculus topics (algebra, geo, trig), but more importantly, you need good problem solving skills.
There are some key things you need to memorize (area, surface area, volume, permutations, etc.), but beyond that I would focus on how to approach problems rather than memorizing specific topics.
