Does anybody here have a sense for whether Stanford or Harvard will ever offer an Executive MBA (EMBA)?
I understand that Stanford offers the Sloan program (1-year M.S. in Management) and that both schools offer executive education, but I am interested in obtaining an MBA while continuing to work full-time. I have read that Stanford does not plan to offer an Executive MBA until they feel that they can deliver the same quality of experience that the full-time MBA affords, but who knows if or when that date will arrive?
I have applied to Wharton's MBA Program for Executives and plan to enroll if I am admitted but I would be very interested in Stanford or Harvard if either offered an EMBA. (Especially Stanford-- my wife and I are graduates.)

I think Harvard offers something similiar, although not a strict EMBA: https://www.exed.hbs.edu/landing/Pages/executivemba.aspx
Other than that, I'm really not to sure when/if Stanford will offer one. I've heard only good things about Wharton's program.

Do you know if the Harvard PLD program confers a degree? I see that participants may obtain HBS alumni status but I am curious if they receive any kind of formal degree/certificate.
