Bharath,

I wasn't given any financial aid for my first year, but they did say that they're open to given aid my 2nd year based on my performance year 1. I think my circumstances are a bit unique as I applied with a very low undergrad gpa (low enough that I consider myself EXCEPTIONALLY fortunate to have even been considered by a top 25 program let alone be admitted).

From what I gathered, they are open to giving students aid for 1 or 2 semesters, and for the truly exceptional candidate possibly more. Because Wisconsin has such low tuition compared to other programs they are inclined to spread the wealth amongst all the students rather than give a free ride to just a few...part of their philosophy (which seems fair to me).

Again, I'm in a unique situation so the second part of this response is probably more relevant to most people...not to say it is relevant in any way...I tend to ramble on....

Hi everybody,

Congratulations on your success! I just applied to the ASAP program and still keep my fingers crossed. Do you guys know about the one-on-one couching activities at Wisconsin. Could you please tell me about it? Thanks guys.
