The argument says fewer students will attend college, which will lead to a shortage of skilled workers. This assumes that skilled workers mainly come from college education.
Correct answer: A. A college education is necessary to produce skilled workers.
Without this assumption, the conclusion about a future shortage wouldn’t logically follow.
