Could anyone pls clarify that how much work exp. is required to get into top B schools as i am CA & have 1 yr of work experience now but i want to pursue global MBA. Can anyone pls help me on this.

Generally..
For 2-year MBA, the eligibility is ~2 years and 3 to 5 years is the sweet spot.
For 1-year MBAs, the eligibility is ~3 years and 4 to 7 years is the sweet spot.
The experience is considered until the date of joining. The entire process of GMAT prep + apps + visa/waiting before joining anyway takes ~1 year.
In certain cases, the articleship experience (between your BCom and CA) can be counted as work experience.

for most B schools avg work experience required is at least 3-4 years....
rather on years of experience whats important is to gauge how have you contributed to organization....
people get into B schools with 15+ experience as well ...
