Yeah,

For example, most applications won't ask you how many months of WE you have when submitting your application. Instead, they'll ask is how many months you'll have at matriculation (i.e. when you enroll & start taking classes).

So if you think you'll need 3 years of WE to be competitive at a particular school, you'll apply a year earlier--when you only have 2 years of WE.

So, provided that I want to enroll in Business school after working for 3 years after college, do I apply after working for 2 years because the application process takes another a year in which I work and technically have 3 years of WE before enrollment, or I work for 3 years, apply, and then enroll when I have a total of 4 years of WE.
Just curious about it, thanks :)

Generally most of the applicants have good 4-5 years of work experience. Although it is not just the work experience that counts but also what you did there like-what were your achievements, what initiative you took, what changes you drove in your workplace etc. So if you can show that in 4 years you have demonstrated the skills business schools are looking for you could put in a strong set of essays.

So the quality of your work, your academics and beyond academics will play an important role.
