Hi hpsharath,
It sounds like you're asking a general question about Business School admissions requirements. Each Business School/Program has its own specific requirements as part of the Application Process. If you visit the website for any School that you're interested in, you can research all of the requirements to apply.
Most Business Schools require some type of work experience, but not all of them (for example, certain Schools/Programs allow students to go directly from their Undergraduate degrees directly into an MBA program). For Schools that don't require work experience, an Applicant's GMAT score and GPA become MORE important, since the Schools need some way to "measure" the likelihood that you can successfully handle the course-work.
As a general rule, 2-5 years of work experience tends to be the required "norm." Having a GMAT score is also the norm, although many Schools now accept the GRE score.
What Schools are you interested in?
When are you thinking about applying?
