Wondering if there is benefit in taking (and obviously mentioning in essay or interviews if applicable) a course that is related to post-MBA career plan?

On the one hand it doesn't have a quant related spin but on the other maybe it shows (at least a small bit) truly are passionate about a career in ____? Curious what the thoughts are, maybe not even like an extension but a coursera style offering.

Apart from Quant, there are few courses that require pre-MBA prep and tilt ADCOM's judgment in your favor.

However, It helps if you project completed courses. MOOCs are Good, EDX in particular. Check courses that will suit your pre-MBA development areas and also your career aspirations.

https://www.nopaymba.com/ might help to kickstart the process.
