Official Explanation

Look for clues in the language or choice of words that are loaded with feeling such as “slacker,” “so-called,” and “shirking” by Writer I and “dictate,” “endanger,” and “as he pleases” by Writer III. Compare them with the language used by Writer II. Then see if you can connect what these writers say with views you have heard or read. We are not asking you to accept any of these opinions. You are using your skill in reading what the writers think and adding it to your own knowledge. Then you make logical inferences.

The correct answers are 1 (B), 2 (C), and 3 (A).
