Writing GMAT in US. Please advise.

I am from India, nxt mnth i am going to US. Will there be any advantage if i write my GMAT in US?

From what has been said and discussed repeatedly here, I believe there is no advantage/disadvantage in taking GMAT in US as opposed to taking it elsewhere. It would be a real comical if this were to be true. People would be queuing before US consulate just for taking up GMAT in US. :-D

I called around to testing centers and such, no difference.
