I submitted my appplication to Columbia school for early decision and found out 3 weeks later that
I wrote the wrong name of exchange program school in one of my essah (why columbia). It was supposed to be LBS (london business school). Somehow I messed it up and wrote LSC (London school of economics which is not in the columbia exchange partner list)
What should I do? any recommendations?
I feel so devastated now.....

It is probably too late at this point. Generally, once you hit submit the application is off and gone. This is not great but still a bit minor in the grand scheme if everything else in your profile is strong and the school feels you are worth an admit this mistake should not negatively affect you.

Nahhhhh don't be devastated. It's not the kind of thing that will get you rejected. Schools see small errors all the time. You can just write the AdCom office a quick email explaining your error, just so they have it on record. Anyhow your exchange school will have little to no bearing on your chances.
