I wrote a Kaplan test yesterday and scored 600 :(

I jacked up the math section (and ofcourse I always take long time on verbals, I answered 36 Q correctly though). I can't believe it took me 50 mins to answer 1st 17 math questions and I ran out of time, only to guess last 15 questions :( man o' man it was a rough one!

Well! I think I am over confident about my quant skills :( I understand problems but take lots of time to solve them. I have to change my approach. I am not going to leave it!!

Lets me tackle it this week!!

kaplan test is not really representative of the gmat score.. it is quite harder.. especially the verbal..

i agree with above ... also they dont have the right formula for calculating your score

Agreed. Do not worry at all about your Kaplan score. Look at their tests as a way to get more practice questions, but definitely not to predict your score. The GMATPrep and Princeton Review tests are MUCH better for that, and much more realistic overall.

Spend the money to buy some old GMAT tests from MBA.com after you register for the test.

They were, by far, the closest to my actual test score when I did my GMAT in March.
