Okay folks. Time for a shameless plug. (Forgive me, but every once in a while, I cant help myself.)
So as you know, there are lots of ways to go about the MBA application game.
A) Some folks use their friends and family to edit essays.
B) Some folks use huge firms that do thousands of apps each year.
C) And some folks like to work directly with the founders of small shops. (About 200 of these shops open up every year.)
Which of these strategies is best for you?
Well, in our humble opinion...none of them. All are flawed--and this is why we founded Precision Essay.
A) Your friends and family may be very gifted...but they may not be of course. I mean, how many MBA apps has your dad done in his day? : ) There is some gamesmanship to this process of course, and even WE learn new tricks every year.
B) Huge firms have tons of experience--but what about the personal touch? Do you wanna go w a company that focuses on tens of thousands of apps annually, or a firm that focuses on, well, YOU?
C) And finally, the small shop. More and more of these every second--after all, there are few barriers of entry in this game. But if you're working directly w the founder, how successful could the company actually be? Any business that is successful--that has a cool, proven system, will GROW. You want of course to work with a shop that has a proven model, and that has seen such growth. Newbie mom and pops wont do the trick.
So that is how we see the world gang. At PE, you will be matched with a top-ten MBA to work with directly. And if you select our Deluxe package, you will also work with...another top-ten MBA. : ) Thaaats right, TWO of em. And you'll also work with a professional writer--a published, honest to goodness writer. Hows that for a braintrust at your fingertips. And if you ever have any questions, you can always pick up the phone and call me. Literally--I always answer my emails, and phone calls. But since we help so many peeps each year, I wont be able to work with you personally (fear the firm where this isnt the case...)
Anyway, I hope you forgive the humble plug. But we are very passionate about this business, and we ALWAYS love the chance to talk about what makes our company work. We love what we do.
Best of luck to everyone.
