x*7/ x - 3*y^2 - no way? Why?

I believe A
the first one can be arranged as
y(3y + 7)=x, simply meaning watever be value of y, it will be multiplied with watever is in the parentheses!
and second one...is
x^2 - x can be arranged as x(x-1), so there is no correlation between x and y. You can plug values randomly and it might work for some and not for others
Like y=2 and x=4, the expression would be 4.3=12, mulitple of 2!
Another one, y=6, x=8 then the expression would be 8.7=56, not a multiple of 6!!
I think i am going right here, my DS is little wavery!!!

the sum of 2 numbers multiple of the same number will be a multiple of that number. SUFFICIENT
From Statement 2)
x^2-x is a multiple of y according to number properties the difference of 2numbers of same multiple will be a multiple of that number.
x^2 and x have only x as a common multiple therefore x as to be a multiple of y
