x + 17,283 odd ?
1. x - odd = odd , (x must be even) --> x + 17,283 --> even + odd = odd -- > sufficient !!
2. x/4 is not even for x = 1 we have 1/4 which is neither odd nor even
for x = 3 we have 3/4 which is again neither odd nor even
for x = 2 we have 1/2 which is again neither odd nor even
x in this case has 2 values even (2) and rest odd
therefore insufficient !!

Nice question here we need to see whether x is even or odd
Statement one tells us that x=odd-odd=even => suff
Statement two tells us x can be even e.g => 20 or it can be 21 as 21/4 isn't even to.
Hence insuff
