Its amazing how random the decisions are, often based only on few communications with one or two people we like. I am a Stern admit, so i would have gladly connected with you. And I can attest that few Stern alumni reached out to me and answered a ton of my questions.
On the other hand I reached to one of the Yale alumni at my target company with few questions about the program and recruiting at Yale, and never heard back. While another Yale executive MBA alumnus was really helpful.
