Hi guys,
so I am a bit weak in my knowledge of the business school admissions process. If I have 2 years of experience, with a good GMAT and a reasonable GPA/explanation for that GPA (I have schizophrenia), will the top business schools still let me in? Should I wait and get more experience? Thoughts?

Most students in the top MBA programs have around 4-5 years of work experience on average. You can advance your candidacy with an impressive and successful professional record of one or more years following the completion of your undergraduate degree.

I have one small question. Currently, I've 3 years of work experience and will be 4 by the time I join a B-school (which is 2021 intake) and I'm expecting a promotion next year i.e April 2021. So will these 3 years of work experience w/o a promotion hamper my chances of getting into a top B-School. However, the scope of work has widened and I've been handling fairly large projects, have executed projects both as at an individual level and along with larger teams. So I'm not sure how will adcom portray this scenario.
