I will be applying for the 2012 year of the MBA program at UC Davis shortly, and while reading through the application, I came up with a question.
In the section on work experience, it asks for the "Number of years of full-time work experience". I'm currently a full-time Budget Analyst, and have been for 1 year. Before this position I worked full-time for 2 years at this same company, but I was basically data entry. Do I put down that I have 3 years experience, or do I put down 1 year of "Relevant" work experience?
Any help would be appreciated. I know that I can ask the admissions office, but I thought I would as here as well.

You absolutely put down 3 years. I'm sure you built some 'relevant' skills during those first 2 years.
And are you sure they're not asking for how many years you'll have at enrollment? The apps I've been working on ask for WE at enrollment, which means you have to add another year since you're still a year out from starting the program.

Yes, I forgot to add the "at enrollment" part, but it is on the application. So I will be able to put 4 years of experience. Awesome, thank you.
