According to Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction Guide, the word "yet" can be both connecting conjunction or subordinating conjunction. Can someone give an example of "yet" serving as a subordinating conjuction

You mean after saying so, MGMAT didn't give any examples. Can you kindly give me the link to the page where they said that, so that we may understand the context better? Yet may also mean however or nevertheless which is a subordinate conjunction

In page 47 it says yet is coordinating conjunction (FANBOYS).
In page 65 it 'yet' is listed as as subordinator conjunction.
There are many examples when 'yet' connects two independent closes as a coordinating conjunction.
But I have not noticed it being used as a subordinator conjunction - to connect a subordinate clause to a main clause.
