Hi,
I'd like to know my chances of getting into a top US B-school applying in September 2018 and I'd really appreciate your help. My profile is the following:
- 23 year-old European female with international background
- 1 year experience in top European Investment Bank + Full-time entrepreneurial experience in South America for 5 months
- Hoping to get into a growing start-up / VC and stay 1/2 years before starting MBA, to get exposure and earn responsibility faster
- Undergrad business, graduated top 8% of my class at renowned university at national level (probably unfamiliar to US admissions) with 2 study abroad programs in Australia and Europe
- On my way to getting +700 on GMAT
- Fluency in 3 languages
- Volunteer experience in Vietnam for a month, + collaborating with NGO in my home town
- Travelled to 27 countries and lived in 5
I am not sure how the change in sector from IB to start-up will look on my CV. Everyone that I see stays for at least two years in the same place before applying, and the majority of applicants is at least 26 (I'll be 24 by the time I apply).
As I still have some time before applying, what would you recommend I focus on to strengthen my application?
Thank you!
