Hi everyone,

In zoom meetings for MBA events, there are some that does not allow you to choose whether to open camera, and I cannot know whether my camera open. Those meetings are recorded.

I wonder, can the AdCom see you? I mean, is it the case that your camera is already open and you cannot control it?

Hi everyone,

The host of the meeting can only ask the users to turn on their camera but you have the control to switch it on/off anytime during the meeting. Check this https://www.howtogeek.com/696774/how-to ... 20or%20off.

Thank you very much! However, my question is slightly different.

I basically ask that there are some meetings that you are not given the camera and microphone buttons. I mean they do not appear on the screen. You can only see the AdCom and Students/Alumni. I wonder whether they are watching you?

Ah! Got it. I now understand what you meant :) That is called a Zoom webinar. In Zoom webinars, your video will not be ON and they can't see you and your video will not be in the recording :)
