Circle C is drawn with center at (0,0) and radius = 4. If a line L passes through (rt(2), -rt(2)) is drawn perpendicular to C, what is the slope of line L?

L perpendicular to C implies that L is the support of a radius of the circle.
As the circle is centered at 0(0,0), the equation of the line L is of the kind :
y = a*x.
Also, the line passes by (sqrt(2),-sqrt(2)) gives us
-sqrt(2) = sqrt(2)*a
<=> a = -1
Hence, the slope is thus equal to -1.
