MBA Resume Consulting Reviews

Your MBA application résumé has a slightly different goal than the typical professional résumé, which plays a leading role — a virtual solo — in presenting you and getting you in the door, sometimes supported only by a cover letter. For your application, the résumé is an important member of the cast, but it doesn’t have the lead. It must work together with the application, essays, etc., to portray an accomplished individual with leadership skills and achievement. The résumé’s role? Provide the facts and context that support the detail and insight provided by the essays, letters of recommendation, and possible interview.

Although the résumé is not going solo, it is important. An impressive résumé, brimming with achievements, can be a major plus in your application. A powerful résumé also helps you avoid boring your readers with shallow, autobiographical "résumés in prose" instead of insightful essays.

Grateful for Accepted

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I cannot thank Accepted enough for their help and guidance with my MBA applications. This company strengthened my application as a whole, especially with reworking my resume, and I have been accepted into my first choice school and dream program. My wonderful tutor took the time to listen to me and sorted through my brainstorming during the initial stages - She then helped me to understand my motive behind pursuing graduate school and how to articulate it best to others. I could not have completed my applications without Accepted - I'm forever grateful for finding them and will definitely pass their name along.

Customized Coaching

Accepted is a top rate organization. They are all about adding value and helping their clients succeed. I purchased a la carte services and was impressed by their willingness to go above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They do not try and up-sell, rather they customize their services for what the client needs. They helped me brainstorm and see unique spots in my story that I should highlight. I highly recommend Karin Ash and also the Accepted podcast is a free resource and wealth of interviews and information. A definite must-listen! All in all, I recommend Accepted and chose them after I interviewed several other consulting firms. Every person I interacted with at Accepted generously gave of their time and wanted to see me find the "fit" for me. I appreciated their support through the application journey.
