The E-GMAT Verbal Live Prep is a nice tool for GMAT takers. The course explains all the concepts in a very lucid manner and it helped me a lot in grasping some key topics such as comparisons and modifiers in a very easy way. Additionally you can practice questions in a step-wise manner and track your improvement. It is a very good course for anyone who is looking forward for a nice score in Verbal section. Moreover the instructors in live sessions are extremely helpful and have a range of good questions to clarify difficult questions. It is a good course.

I took this course 6 years out of school. Now i remember how to do most of the stuff I didn't remember everything. This course gave me what I needed. an all in concept refresher that covers basics and takes you to advanced level practice. Payal was the instructor and she took me through the concepts and how those concepts can be used in GMAT style questions. It was definitely a very good experience with even better results. I will be taking the GMAT one more time and i have no doubt I'll be going for this same course again to prep and practice on my off time a little better to improve my quant score.

its a great course that deals with all the essential concepts from the most rudimentary and basic level of understanding. This makes sure that you have the sound fundamentals required to build upon and pace through the preparation upon completion of the required materials.

This i believe is a great tool that one should have for their preparation of their sometime daunting experience of going through the preparation and the exams.

i would recommend that you use the eGMAT Quant Live feature and course available within your study schedule and plan for giving the gmat exam.

like many other things, this is not the most ideal in terms of the technology its based out. the videos are presented at the very basic level and deal with the core concepts that are required for the exam. but the price point they offer is phenomenal and must to have for the preparation of a key exam that can change one's life.

Before opting for the Verbal Live Prep course from E-Gmat, I went through various verbal courses available online but none of them were as complete as the Verbal Live Prep from e-gmat. After going through the course , i felt nothing in the curriculum is left behind and i could easily solve difficult SC, CR and RC questions.

Scholaranium is a section where one can attempt the section wise quiz or the sub-section wise quiz.
They have a lot of variety of questions and it really helps to keep the track of progress.
They also have forum where people can discuss their doubts, and the guides help them out. That really helps in understanding where I was going wrong.
In all I would say that they have an excellent , well-structured course.
They really focus on the basics and make the process a lot simplified.
It offers more than 200 questions in each section of the verbal test, viz – CR, SC and RC. One can take sectional tests to gauze their performance or take a complete verbal test to gauze the performance in the verbal section of the test – so one can take 10 sectional ability quizzes and 5 verbal ability quizzes. The tests are quite scientific and the way they are designed gives you a very good measure of your true strengths and weaknesses. You can identify your sections to work on and then focus on that section to weed out any weakness that you may have. After working on that section you can come back and take the ability quizzes to see the improvement if any. It tells a student if he or she is truly ready for the tests of if there’s any gap in their ability which they need to fix before taking the tests. This would allow then to avoid any nasty surprises on the test day.

At the beginning of the course, a study plan is provided which helped me greatly in chalking out my own study plan. The concepts are taught using Audio/Visual files which are much interesting in reading plain text files. This leads to better concentration and better retention of the concepts learned. The learning process is well planned. After a series of concept files there are application files which tests the ability to apply the concepts learned in that section. The files may be revisited as many times as required. Moreover, the application of concepts is taught in great details in the Live Sessions and all queries/doubts are answered by the tutors.

E-GMAT Scholaranium is a wonderful tool that helps greatly in increasing the accuracy.

Overall, E-GMAT Verbal Live Prep is a highly recommended course to increase your verbal ability. Most of my friends who have cracked or are preparing for GMAT have gone through the VLP course by E- Gmat.

With a plethora of information available on the internet on GMAT, I decided with e-gmat after reading a couple of reviews. The quant material is good for people like me who are scoring around Q 25-30 in mock. Just studying this material will give u nearly 10-15 point improvement in quant taking the score to at least Q40-Q45. To score beyond this, you will need material from gmat club, for topics like overlapping sets , co-ordinate geometry etc. I would highly recommend e-gmat quant material, if you are scoring in the range or 30. In addition to this, the free sessions that are made available by the tutors are excellent and help avoid some pitfalls.

This is the best course to start from the scratch, nice content, ease of use and with lot of practice. I highly recommend this courses. Earlier, i spent too much time learning so many grammar rules.
For RC, I couldn’t comment too much on it, as I believe for this particular section everyone’s reading strategy will be different. A thing to note is that there are a couple videos where we can follow the reading and thinking process of the instructor in answering the questions, and I believe these videos were pretty helpful.

Also-prethinking helps a lot to stay focused all the time

I would strongly recommend the Egmat Verbal Live Prep for Sentence Correction, CR and RC sections. The course covers all concepts required for SC in particular very clearly. It also does good justice to the CR and RC concepts that will be tested on the GMAT. After completing the course, I would recommend that you develop a strategy that really works best for you to solve questions right in time( e.g. the way you read and work logically towards a solution may be unique and trying to adapt too much to some other way may reduce your speed and accuracy--I have found this to be true irrespective of the test prep company in the picture) . You will need to practice doing the questions quickly and naturally on your own after the concept building part from egmat. The people at egmat are very helpful and provide free extension services if your situation is genuine useful! The scholaranium is very good for identifying your weaknesses and targeting your preparation accordingly. I found the egmat verbal workship extremely useful as well - this is an excellent gauge of where you stand on the actual test with respect to score and difficulty. I believe it is the best prep source out there for non-native english speakers in particular!

e-gmat course is great. if u want to just brush up your basis or get multiple practice questions this is the course for you. excellent customer service .. the questions are available from all sections of maths and the scholarium is just great. i wanted to improve my quant score and this course helped me do just that.
even if you are unable to complete the course within a defined period, the e-gmat team generously extends your deadline provide you give them an exact exam date. also the support team replies to your queries within a couple of days which i personally feel is a very quick response time.

I want to thank e-gmat for conceptualizing and designing such a useful course for people who struggle with GMAT verbal. This course has helped me quite a bit in improving my GMAT verbal score from 28 to 38, enabling me to score a respectful 710(Q49, V38) in GMAT.

I especially liked their SC modules which I think is worth every penny. By saying this, I don’t mean that there CR and RC modules are not effective. They are very effective as well, but as per my opinion improving your sores substantially in CR and RC requires a lot of practice along with following the e-gmat methodology, whereas one can improve very quickly on SC by following their methodology with comparatively less practice.

The flexibility of an online course that allows one to work at one’s own pace also works in favor of e-gmat verbal online as an offering. There live classes are also extremely helpful as it helps one experience the live implementation of the concepts one goes through in the video lessons.

In summary, I recommend this course specifically for those who are looking forward to a quick fix for their SC woes and generally for those GMAT aspirants who are looking forward to improve their score in all sections of verbal and are willing to put in a lot of effort in RC and CR sections.

My GMAT Experience and E-GMAT

I am an experienced manager ( Have a MBA from a Top School in India more than 10 years ago) working for a top MNC. I decided to give my GMAT, as I wanted to apply for PhD.

As a typical Indian with Engineering background, I am very strong in Quant. Got 48 in my first mock GMAT with GMATPrep. My verbal was a low 30.

I decided to use e-GMAT. While people tend to highlight its use for non-native speakers, I think it is something that will work for everyone. It puts a template on how to approach GMAT questions. For example for the Sentence Correction they have their 3 Step approach. These are very helpful. Their question bank (Scholaranium) is very good.

I gave my GMAT last week and got a 680. I was not happy with my score, but my Verbal was a good 37. My target is to push my Verbal to 40+ and I will be using the e-GMAT material and work harder.

I will recommend e-GMAT Verbal Live Prep to anyone considering study material for their GMAT. After a level it is more of your own preparation that matters more.
