As a newbie, GMATClub Tests are all that I could expect for getting a tremendous motivation towards the journey. Crystal- clear explanations by Bunuel the master, detailed discussions, manifold POV by many users- all help me to boost my understanding of concepts that I used to fear a lot, I wish there were a few more 700+ verbal questions and an AWA evaluation. Overall, this should be the first tests to try for making a strong foundation.
I also think most of the questions are created keeping the form intact of the official structure. Really helpful for a newcomer and non-native students. Wish GMATClub all the best in its upcoming endeavors.
Overall, I am happy with this product and believe it provides very good practice for test-takers. I do have a few issues.
Firstly, I doubt this set truly follows an adaptive pattern. I got several 600-700 level questions right in a row yet didn't see a 700 level question. Conversely, sometimes I was only solving 700 level questions in-spite of getting previous few questions wrong.
Secondly, the scoring seemed to be based on performance in each session rather than a test. This means I can have a score based on 2 quant sessions or 2 verbal sessions or quant from one test and verbal from another test session. I personally find this system counter-productive to evaluate a test-taker's level.
Finally, I got an incredibly easy verbal session wherein I scored V45 which lead my score to be 750. I used to get V32-V35 normally. An abnormally easy session which spikes your score is a real possibility in this set.
I have no doubt that all questions are GMAT level questions but a lack of adaptive algorithm in these tests means you could end up solving series of easy or difficult questions irrespective of your performance on previous questions.
The Gmat club tests were free for 24 hours so I thought Id try some out. I took 1 Quant and 1 verbal to see. The Quant level is definitely more difficult than a normal CAT test. It goes from 500 to 600 to 700 level questions even if you are not performing well, so your score isnt 100% aligned with your skill level. I enjoyed seeing questions that were very difficult though. Usually you see 2-3 questions that will take you a lot of time and either guess or sit down and complete them. This had 8-11 questions that were in my 2-4 minute zone and 1-2 that would have probably been 4+ minutes if attempted. I look forward to reviewing them and knowing what will come next once I get the 600-700 level questions down pact.
I have subscribed to the GMAT club test for 1 month and I found it really helpful in brushing on my Quant skills. The questions are tougher than the actual GMAT test but it helps if one is targeting Q50+ level. The topic-wise segregation of question allows you the flexibility to focus on week areas. The verbal section needs some work as no. of questions are not enough. One advice to the test makers is to ensure that all questions presented in the tests should be solvable in under 2 minutes. I found that most of the 700 level questions and also some 600 level question would take more than 3 min to solve. Hence the tests need to be tweaked to include only those questions which can be solved under 2 min.
GMAT Club Quant tests are incredible, they are very important tool for Quant prep. The quality of questions and variety differentiate these test from others . It is must if you want to boost your quant prep. You can see track your preparation and see your progress with every test, using dashboard, it helps you to identify your week areas , which need improvement. It has got 30 tests, which are sufficient for quant practice. The difficulty level also gradually increases with correct question, difficulty level is not erratic like some other prep tests available in market. I
I didn't found verbal tests more useful, but no doubt quant material is best in market.
it was a good experience overall. the tests prepare you for the hardest version, however it sometimes gets really tough , even tougher than the exam, which would affect your self esteem. the tests cover every part of the curriculum. but the answers are not well prepared, and sometimes the answers are very subjective (especially in the RC part), and they sometime don't make sense. I've recommended this course to other friends who had pretty much the same feedback. however, these tests are better than any other tests from other sources. my experience was with GMAC and egmat, and so far, my experience with gmat club was the best among them.
The GMAT Club Tests really helped me pull up my quant score from 38 to 44 in a recent exam. I figured that I did not spend enough time revising my errors and perfecting my conceptual knowledge, else I am pretty sure a Q49 is possible with the GMATClub tests. I really love the wealth of DS questions that was provided in the tests and how the tests helped me build mental stamina for my actual exam. I would definitely recommend it for Quant. However, I was not too happy with the quality of questions for verbal and hence the 4 stars. I really hope GMATClub will seek to improve in that area!
I subscribed GMAT Club tests for 1 month and I appeared all tests in the GMAT Club tests. In the test section, math is very hard, but very effective. After completing every test, I would study explanation of the answer which I made mistake. Following this way, I improved my math section. Math section in GMAT Club test is outstanding resource to get test of real GMAT Math question and I am confident that following the question in depth must boost up one's confidence in Math section. Verbal Section is good as well. In this section, critical analysis and reading comprehension questions is very good source of preparing GMAT study. And I want to say any reservation that before going to the real GMAT test, everyone should go through the GMAT Club test to judge himself or herself how much competent on GMAT questions and how much he or she can achieve in real GMAT test.
You can be rest assured that your performance in GMAT Club quants CATs will essentially be your final score on the D-Day.
5 stars for Quant. 1 star for Verbal ( So 4)
Let me go categorically
Quants
1. 26 quants tests are a lot. An average of last 5 Tests is essentially going to be your final quant score.Period
2. Quality of questions are really good and closely match with actual GMAT question types
3. The adaptive algorithm (which a lot of other Test providers cant just get right) works very well.
4. I will say though that the GMAT club test series package leaves a major part of test performance upto you. they dont provide a lot of metrics.
Verbal
I did not trust verbal test tbh . Dont have much to say about verbal scores other than the fact the questions are repetitive in nature. And some of the question types that they ask in these tests are not according to the actual GMAT.

I found the GMAT club tests to be extremely useful during my GMAT preparation, mainly because I had a variety of questions that would not be similar but not the same that I would get during my CAT's.
I experienced difficulty solving 700+ questions, I found out some of them were extremely difficult and even the Q&A of the questions was not clear enough to understand the steps to solve them. Anything under 700+ are very good practice questions, My recommendation is that if you need extra material go for them, otherwise they are not a must have for a GMAT taker.
This is true. I wish to get more of these tests. How well did you do on your official test minustark?
