Hello,
I am an entrepreneur for the last 2 years and recently my business has not grown as much as in the past
When stating my post-mba career plans, should I mention that this is the reason why I want an MBA to re-vitalize the business. Will taking a 2 year leave for MBA be seen as a positive action in the eyes of the Adcom?
Thanks!!

It’s a judgment call. If there are real benefits you could gain by attending business school and those benefits outweigh the cost of you being away from the business for 2 years, then great. If you cannot make that case to yourself, however, then it might be difficult to convince admissions committees.

So, it depends…

Best of luck,
Brian
