19 days until I take the exam, I'm sure a lot of people are in the same boat given they want to finish before the format changes, wanted to enlist your input to make the best use of my time.
Took my first practice test this from
Manhattan GMAT this weekend, got a 640 (Q47,V31). I would like to achieve 700+.
To use my time most efficiently, I have the following plan.
So far I have completed the 8
MGMAT guides and did all the problems the end of the chapters including the OG problems.
Now I wanted to use the following books
1. OG Verbal Review (300Qs)
2. OG Quantitative Review (300Qs)
3. Powerscore CR Bible
4. Kaplan 800
Basically I see myself doing 30-60 questions from the OG review books on the weekdays, taking 3 more
MGMAT PT's and 2 Official Practice Tests, and spending the last week going over all the practice tests.
I would go over the Powerscore bible in the evenings, and if I have time try to crack some sections of the Kaplan 800.
Would you have any other suggestions on how to break up these days and what to focus on?
Some books to review, particular parts of each book etc. I think time management on the exam is one of my main concerns along with brushing up on verbal.
I believe that given the right preparation and commitment, I can achieve my goal.
Appreciate your input.
