If nothing else, you may have been on the fence for them. An interview could have sealed the deal. I don't know what their procedure is, but making a trip down there might be part of your "get off the list" strategy.

Yeah, interviews are important for Duke. I flew coat to coast for my interview even though I qualified for an alumni interview.

Personal issues forced me to cancel my interview. I will plan to do an interview, but how will this affect my changes of being accepted. Will it mean that I go into the third round, where selectivity rates are pretty low?

Congrats to everyone that is in! I hope to see y'all at the end of the month.

I am sorry to hear about those who did not get in - just remember that getting in/not getting in at one school has nothing to do with how you'll fare at another, so don't lose hope!

I think showing your face at the campus is crucial way to show your interest for the program.
I have never visited Kellogg ( I am not saying this was THE reason I got ding. but I certainly believe it was a reason)
