Congrats to all you folks that made it through, and very sorry for those that didn't. But as someone mentioned earlier, this is not a barometer to measure your aptitude or success. Different schools view things very differently.

I think he will end up going to Stanford. so at the end, this doesn't really matter. Perhaps, Duke knows that Pelihu consider duke as his backup in case he doesn't get into Stanford/Columbia/Chicago.

Or maybe DUke will award him full ride..

I would say that it will be either he gets ding or full ride.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the concern, all of you. I made it! I actually tried to stay up last night to see the decision - I usually stay up until 2:30-3:00, so I thought, if nothing by 3PST then it must be 5PST, but I got too tired around 4 and went to bed.

I just got up a few minutes ago.

I don't hate Fuqua, I just hate Duke basketball. Actually, a pretty common feeling all across the nation. I'm thinking I should probably stay anonymous though - no telling who's holding a grudge out there. I wouldn't want to be sitting in class one day to come out and find my tires slashed.

I didn't mean you, I meant some other random tire slasher

I was just looking at your other thread and posted a response. We should definitely get everyone together for drinks sometime. I think we should continue to wait a little longer so that more people have the opportunity to get good news from various schools.

Today was a pretty good day for me actually. I also got invited for an interview at Darden. They have open interviews on campus earlier in the process, but I wasn't able to do that. As I understand it, they extend interviews to a small number of applicants, basically to gauge interest. So, I'm going to head there to find out what I can. I've been to the campus many times before (nation wide law school softball tournament) and I know that aesthetically it is awesome. The weather is good too, which is a plus for me. What I need find out is how I will feel about going to school in a somewhat remote location.
