Hi, CBS just opened their admissions this year
Do you think is important to apply on early decision or on regular decision (when I will feel more prepared)?

if you have a differentiated profile (a less represented nationality and background, a strong career trajectory, valid reasons for doing an MBA, and a decent GMAT/GRE score), neither would be a wrong choice.

But given how competitive CBS's admissions are, strongly consider applying early unless you expect significant improvement would happen to your profile in the post-early decision timeline.

If Columbia is your first choice, you could definitely apply by the early decision deadline. If you feel like Columbia is just one of your target schools and there is another school you might prefer over it, then you should apply by the regular decision deadline. That will help you make a decision just in case you have a number of admits.
