I don't understand the question. The way it's written, I think it asks one to calculate how many ways there are if all girls were before any boy.
However, that would be 3! + 4!, which is not a solution. So what is the question asking?

you are almost there, question is asking 3!*4!.

3 girls and then 4 boys, not 3 girls or then 4 boys.

One girl from 3 girls = 3c1
One boy from 4 boys = 4c1
Middle placed girl and boys permute in 2! Ways.
So required ways:
3c1*2*3*2!*4C1 = 144 ways
