I only have a couple weeks left before I plan to take the exam, and I still need to get through the critical reasoning guide, the reading comprehension guide, and the sentence correction guide.

When I first took the GMATPrep test to see where I stood prior to doing any studying (I took it in July), I got a verbal score of 35. I believe of the 11 I missed, it was a fairly even split between reading comprehension and sentence correction.

I seem to read a lot about the sentence correction book on here, so do you guys think I should do sentence correction first, then reading comprehension, and critical reasoning if I still have time?

Your score is as good as your weakest section. If SC is a verbal strength for you, focus on RC and CR first.

SC is a crux for many people, this is why you see it mentioned so much and people asking for help on resources.

My quant score was lower, that's why I have dedicated so much time to those. Since my verbal was fairly decent to begin with, I was just curious which of the 3 I should work through first to make sure I have enough time on it. Most likely it will be sentence correction since I think that could potentially be more challenging than comprehension. Thanks!

Same story: focus on weakest section first. If they're the same, it shouldn't really matter.

Keep an error log to determine the "why" factor and not repeat mistakes. This is key to overcoming obstacles and moving forward.

If SC and RC are both comparable in strength/weakness, then you will probably get far more "bang for your buck" in terms of time if you invest these weeks in the Sentence Correction book. It is typically much more difficult for students to improve on the Reading Comprehension section, since that skillset is primarily a *process* one. For Sentence Correction, there is absolutely a process skillset (scanning vertically for splits, POE) that will help you become more efficient, but there is a ton of *content* that will help you get questions right after you devote time to memorizing the appropriate grammar rules. Given that you only have a couple of weeks, I think the SC guide is a much better investment of your time.

If you are good in SC ...Skill yourself for Cr and RC's........RC will be easy for you....
