37%tile with only 4 incorrect in Quant

Question

Hi everyone. I just got my test score report and with only 4 mistakes out of 21 questions In the quant session I got a 37th percentile. Any idea on how this can be possible?

It’s possible that the questions you marked incorrect were of easy level.

The difficulty level of the questions attempted across the section may have been a factor. Consider checking out the Understanding Your Score page on the MBA website which mentions 3 factors Quant scores are based on. The myth vs. fact info (e.g. in the beginning of the Official-Guide 2024) may also provide some helpful insight.

I think the questions you had incorrect were easy level? Even then, that's a harsh drop.

Shocking... I expected the inital questions to be wrong, but first 7 questions were right, so the difficulty level should have moderated to "moderate level of difficulty" and the incorrect questions are spaced well. I'm unable to understand why such a drop in percentile occured.
